The National President

Dr. Sixtus Chike Unigwe, fNISEP, is the National President of the Association of Child and Learning Psychologists and the seventh President since the Association was founded in 2000. Dr. Unigwe is of the Department of Educational Psychology, School of Education, Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze, Anambra State, which is also the Association's contact address.

The presidency began in 2023, the year the Society was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as the Association of Child and Learning Psychologists. During this term the Association celebrated its silver jubilee at its national conference at Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State, in October 2025. The President also chairs the Editorial Board of the Association's journal, The Nigerian Educational Psychologists.
