In October 2025 the Association celebrated its silver jubilee at its national conference at Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State — twenty-five years after the first conference in Awka.

The Nigerian Society for Educational Psychologists (NISEP) was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2023 as the Association of Child and Learning Psychologists (ACLP).

The Association’s journal, published since 2002, invites original manuscripts — with preference for empirical research. Papers are limited to 15 pages, and conference papers must address the conference theme.

Dr. Sixtus Chike Unigwe leads the Association as National President, supported by the Vice President, Secretary-General, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Secretary and Editor-in-Chief, under Patron Prof. Romy O. Okoye.
